Electric Rollers

I use the velcro rollers and secure them with a bobby pin. I haven't used electric rollers since high school! If she is wanting softer curls and already has curly hair, I am not sure electric is the route she wants to go.

I roller brush my hair in sections, put the velcro roller in, then secure with bobby pin, and leave in as long as possible (usually an hour or so before I have to be ready - the longer, the better). Spray with some Paul Mitchell Finishing Spray - that is your best bet against humidity. No brand of rollers will be better than another at preventing a humid climate from ruining her hair. Those high humidity days may call for an up-do.

i have big wavy hair that holds a curl well. try image searching hot curlers. that is the style i have. it dose not hold the curl as well once my hair has been flat ironed ! ? the best results for my hair is to use a curling iron. she can skip the flat ironing and go straight to the curler! get the results all in one go.

I used a conair kind and they seemed to work well. I was able to make the curls tight or loose. They are the ones that are a stick with loop at the end. hope this helps!

what kind do you have? what is it about those that she doesn't like? hard to give you an alternative if we dont know the problem. I had the old school rollers with a huge bobby pin looking thing. They worked fine for me, but my daughter wanted the ceramic ion ones. They seemed to calm frizz better in humidity.
