Dying Grass (Patches)

Anyone know how to revive some patches of dead grass on our lawn?
Apparently the automatic sprinklers aren't hitting these patches so I've been hand
watering those areas w/some but limited luck.
Do I need to put some type of fertilizer on these spots?
Agggh, help! Thanks

What can I do next?

I had to manually set up a sprinkler attached to a hose to get those areas the sprinkler system was missing. I know its annoying.

I *think* if you use grass seed and fertilizer, it'll help your spot. We have one right now too and I've been thinking of how to fix it!

You could see if the company that installed the sprinklers can adjust the heads.

Only use fertilizer if you are sure you can keep up with the watering or you will actually burn up the patches.

Every time we have dealt with that it's grubs. Dig up the sod and see if you find them under there, if you do, you need them to come out and spray.

Dig down in it to see if there are grubs. They can only be treated at the end of July, first of August, at least here in Texas. If there are no grubs, it could be a fungus.
