I think I would definitely call your doctor and make an appointment...I would even share with the nurse what is going on in case they want to see you sooner, rather than later.
It could be a whole host of things...inner ear issues ( although that wouldnt explain the feeling of "numbness")....sinuses, low blood pressure, and I am sure a ton of other things that I have no idea about.
As I have said to others before...this is NOT the forum to come to for serious health issues...we are not professionals and sometimes some of the advice I see being given to some of the questions really scares me a little.
You need to see your doctor who knows your medical history and had the knowledge to really help you solve this.

I kept getting what I thought was vetrigo, and my toes go numb from time to time, usually while working out or walking alot.

I went to a Chiroprator. I was really skeptical of him at 1st. He explained to me about how the nerves connected to our spines can get pinched when parts of our spine are out of alignment and by getting your spine realigned it releases the pressure on those nerves. So for example if the nerves connected to our sinuses are being pinched, it could cause allegies, migrains, blurred vision, ect. So instead of taking a medication to temporarly , take away the pain or symptom a chirotprator adjusts your back to relase pressure on the nerves to fix the problem. Get it? Not really? lol. You really shoudl at least meet with a Chiroprator, and have them explain this to you. If you understand and think this could help you give it a try. I am only in my 3rd week of seeing a Chiroprator, but I am feeling SO much better already, I never thought popping my back would help with my discomfort, totally weird, but it works for me!

I hope you find out whats going on!

Your equilibrium must be off. You should see your doctor. When I get really sick, sinuses get very bad and I get dizzy at times like even when I'm sitting all of the sudden the room sort of spins a bit. And as soon as I'm fine, it goes away. But if you're not sick then it must be something else and it sounds serious. See your doctor right away! Best of luck.

Another benign explanation might be low blood pressure.
When my blood pressure dips, my entire body goes numb and I get dizzy. When it is extreme I will loose vision and hearing and I have passed out from it, too.
I usually get it when it's hot or I am dehydrated, typically in a situation where I go from low activity to high activity (like from sitting down to walking) or when I have been standing for a while.

In my case, even though it sounds dramatic, it is not dangerous and the only treatment I am on is making sure to stay hydrated and a cup of coffee in the morning... but I agree with others that you should get it checked out. My doctor still wants me to come in when I pass out, just to make sure it's still really just my blood pressure and nothing else going on. Diabetes and several neurological conditions have similar symptoms, so you want to be sure...

Good luck!

I agree with Caroline, it could be a number of things.

I don't discount the equilibrium thing, but my first thought was related to Diabetes and the possibility of having extremely high hyperglycemia.

But, without being a physician and not knowing everything else you're experiencing, your best bet is to call your Family Practitioner and get evaluated as soon as possible - they may also refer you to an Ophthmologist for a consultation for that issue.

Without the numb feeling this sounds like a balance disorder which could be caused by fluid in the ear or something more serious to do with the brain. Combining the numb feeling with the dizziness causes me to wonder if something serious is going on with the brain. I urge you to see a doctor.

I would go to a doctor and have it checked out. I don't know if this is the same but, once or twice when I have had a bad sinus infection, I have experienced brief periods of feeling dizzy and out of sorts due to low blood pressure.

you need to treat your parties like an athletic event. Drink plenty of fluids before, during and after and see if your symptoms improve.

Have you had your blood sugar checked? It sounds to me like how I feel when my blood sugar gets really low. I used to get "vision auras" like some people get with migraines when my blood sugar would drop. It would feel like I was spaced out, or I'd have a blank spot in my vision, or sometimes I'd get tunnel vision. Make sure you aren't eating lots of sugary foods and balance carbs with protein, which will slow down the metabolism process and keep your blood sugar more even. A natural diet works better, too...
