Welcome to Allen!!

Depending on your location in Allen, you'll either be in the Allen school district (very good) or Plano school district (Very good). Just because you have an Allen address does not mean you are automatically in the Allen ISD.

I have an Allen address (West Allen, 75013) and we are in Plano schools. We pay Allen taxes and Plano school taxes.

Our Pedi is Naomi Piga in Frisco, Piga Primary Care. I have a 16 yr old daughter and she loves her.

My daughter babysits when she gets the chance. Right now she is in the middle of football season cheering. She goes to Plano West 11th grade.

A good way to find sitters is networking in your neighborhood. October 4 is neighbors night out and our neighborhood is having a social that night from 5:30-7:30 with the police and fire units coming out. Great place to meet sitters!!

I LOVE Market Street for fresh groceries. Watters Creek is one of my favorite places, I am there daily!

Welcome to Allen and feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions. We love this area!

Welcome!!! I'll go through your questions...

a): I use Paul Reyes at Stonebridge Peds in McKinney, he's really down to earth and never makes you feel rushed. I'm not a fan of Dr. Cook, only because their office isn't as open minded regarding alternate vaccination schedules but if you are ok with that, you may be happy there.
b)I can't help you on this one.
c) I use Craig Ranch Ob/gyn. I love their office, I see Dr. Robert but have also seen the others and I like them too.
d)Again, can't help you on this one, sorry.
e)Lovejoy is awesome, Allen is good, McKinney is so so, Frisco is hit or miss and Plano is hit or miss. If you go into the Park Cities area, Highland Park is awesome as well.
f)Both my babysitters left for college this year so I'm on the hunt once again too.

Again, welcome!

Well, you're in Allen - you'll be in the Allen school district (Allen ISD to check the nearest school).
My internist is not female, but HIGHLY recommend Dr. Abel Garduno - he is fantastic (even if just for your husband) - located in Plano - https://secure.villagehealthpartners.com/portal/
Dr. Jeff Berkowitz or any doctor in the office - also in Plano - Pediatric Specialists Of Plano
