Do You Still Print Pictures?

i print a photo occasionally but most of them are online somewhere. prior to digital cameras we took far, far fewer photos, but i take a bunch every day now. now way i could keep up with putting even a fraction of 'em in albums.

Ack - this reminds me that I have to go through my digital file because my son's K teacher wants a baby picture of him for a project. I guess that should tell you no, I don't print pictures :)

I do make photo books of events. And I do burn pics and videos to a disc periodically that I store in my office (to make the distinction that it's outside my home) so that if anything bad happened to my computer, I would still have my pictures.

Yes I still print photos and put them in albums. Our family albums are some of my greatest treasures, I love looking at them from time to time, we all do.

I do still print pictures! And I make scrapbooks out of them. It's one of my favorite hobbies. I really treasure them too, and my kids love to look at them. It takes a long time, and I always toy with the idea of making digital scrapbooks, but I really enjoy paper/pen crafts, and I have so many supplies, I can't make the switch.

I think it's a forced sorting process too... the best photos make it in the book, the rest, eh.

Not really. I do keep them in the cloud on our computer plus I upload all pictures to an internet site. I make a photo book using TONS of pictures for each year. I just finished our 2015 one and it easily has 1.000 pictures in it. I find this is a good use for them because they are all in a book grouped by year. My kids LOVE to go through the books all the time and look and how they've grown and changed. They enjoy looking at our memories, different vacations, sports pictures, etc. It takes a long time, but I think it's worth it.

Good for you for burning her videos. I have a machine to do it but haven't got around to it. I figure by the time I do DVDs will be outdated and it will be something new.

I have been uploading mine to a site to print at some point. I just want them off my computer. I do still print, but I can't remember the last time anyone looked at an album.

Friends of mine just keep them on jump drives. They think I'm nuts for printing.

I don't have them on the "cloud". I don't trust it. I have (since my phone was misplaced on New Years Day) backed up my SIM card to a thumb drive.

We are transferring VHS and OLD video to a DVD - having a professional do it.

I think you will always be able to play the discs. Truth was that film/DVR film was never meant to last as long as most of them did. They disintegrate just by being in the air. It weakens it to the point it will break without ever being used, sitting on the shelf.

DVD disks are going to be around for a long time. Just like Laser Discs. If you have a player you can still find the discs all over in stores that have things like that. Cheap! We have 2 milk crates with Laser Discs in them and we will occasionally get one out and play it. It's still fun to show the kids we have to turn them over half way through.

Tape? no, get rid of them. Discs? Keep them and the players for a long while.

I print pictures. We have many frames. Snapfish has terrible customer service, FYI. They lost my videos.

I still print pictures, I have a ton of them at work and lots of frames all over the house. I need to update the ones in my living room though!

I make iPhoto books. They are not cheap...(about $150) but we love them!
