Does anyone know of a good cream to lighten dark under eye circles? I have tried many products! Even hylexin which is very expensive and suppose to work well! Didn't do much for me! Thanks so much!

What can I do next?

I have recently learned that the dark circles under mine and my children's eyes are actually due to allergies. Once we got the allergies under control the circles disappeared.

the only thing that has ever worked for me...and I've tried everything!....is sysley eye & lip creme but its very expensive. it gets rid dark circles and fine lines after you use it for a few weeks. I recommend getting some free samples of it from Neimans to try before buying. use it day and night. also ebay sells it for much cheaper. and make sure you have a good under eye cover up...Chanel makes the best one. it's around $30 and will last you over a year (mine has lasted at least 2 years) and its the best. good luck

Hi LF: I would go to the doctor/dermatologist, rule out any health problems, like the other mom on here said, rule out allergies, etc. After doing that, then I would consider "Boschia." It's at Sephora, and online. It's a great natural product, that has done wonders for my skin! I started having acne after my last child, born last year.It cleared up my acne in no time, and if I remember right, they do have a dark circle cream. Check it out, let me know if it helps! It's a little pricey, but totally worth it!

I haven't found anything on the market that helps with this. I have read this website, http://www.wikihow.com/Get-Rid-of-Black-Circles-Under-You... , and am trying a few of the things they suggest. If you find a great solution, give me a shout please.

I've had dark circles under my eyes for years. Here is what works for me:
1. keeping my allergies in check
2. keeping hydrated with WATER (lots of water)
3. keeping a consistant sleep schedule (go to bed about the same time/get up about the same time)
4. Arbonne's RE9 anti-aging eye cream (it is botanically-based with a skin lightening agent in it called kojic acid)
5. Arbonne's concealer
I look completely different now and people (even men) have noticed a difference!
I would be happy to share Arbonne samples with you and if you decided you wanted to order, I would be happy to give you my 35% discount. Feel free to check out my website and you can email from there as well....www.foravibrantlife.myarbonne.com.
Good luck!

Hello, LF. I agree with the post that suggested checking to see if you have any allergies to anything and getting enough sleep, everyone is different, you may need more than 8 hours sleep. Personally, I need 10. Other than these things, I have one word for you, CONCEALER! Those pricy creams, ointments etc. are sold to make money, they do not get rid of the circles. Don't be fooled. Try concealer and getting plenty of sleep. If you don't get enough sleep sometimes, the concealer will make up for it!

Hi L F!

I have to agree with the person who mentioned allergies. If you have allergies, then the dark circles can be caused by that. No cream will solve the dark circle problem unless allergies are brought under control. I hope you do find a permanent solution!

God's Grace to you,

Lisa :)

I have dark circles as well. I always have to use a concealer. I have used every brand under the sun and they all seem to work about the same. I do know the concealer works b/c if I don't have any on my husband asks me what happened to my eyes!

Avon has an eye cream that is supposed to brighten the eye area. It's called 'Lighten Up Plus Eye Cream'. It's $15, but they are having a buy 1, get 1 for 1.99 sale...mix and match with 25 other products. I have been using it for a couple weeks and I think my eye circles are fading.

Have you tried Arbonne eye cream?? It is terrific, and I wouldn't start my day without it. It has botanical ingredients (no mineral oil, alcohol, wax, etc.) and I know you'll love it. If you'd like to try a 3 day sample pack (no charge) please let me know. I need your name, and your mailing address.
