Cutesy Native American Cookies

I have been googling for a while now looking for some sort of cutesy cookie to depict Native Americans for my son's Thanksgiving feast at school. I have found a ton of different ways to make turkeys and Pilgrim Hats, but nothing for Native Americans. I have inherited a nice cookie cutter collection, so if push comes to shove I can cut and decorate cookies....but I'd rather glue candy and store bought cookies together with frosting. ;) Anyone have any suggestions, ideas, or websites?
TIA mamas!

Not really but my only idea is that many native americans baked with maize flower, a type of corn. Wonder if you could find any recipes that were like cornbread but in cookie form? Maybe a stupid thought but it's all I got ...:)

These are pretty cutesy, Corny Cookies. Go to http://familyfun.go.com/ and search for Corny Cookies, they look like an ear of colorful corn. I can share the recipe on Facebook but can't seem to get it to copy so I can paste it, sorry.

Being part Native American: Dream Catchers, brightly woven patterns, bear claw patterns and basically anything nature induced. Buffalo in particular. The corn thing is good too, make you can make a basket out of brown icing, and candy corns peeking out of the top, like bushels of corn that have just been gathered.

I have an antique cast iron corn pone pan.
They make great corn bread or muffins.
I've seen cheaper aluminum versions. You might google or call around in your local area.

Have fun!
