I just bought some grapes that were made to taste like COTTON CANDY!!! I feel like I'm being bad yet it's grapes so its ok! LoL....I think it may be my new favorite fruit! What's your favorite fruit?!?
My daughter saw those grapes the other day at the grocery store. She thinks that it is a terrible idea and that "grapes should taste like grapes." I must say, I agree with her.

Fave fruit: tomatoes. Ronald Reagan was wrong: ketchup is NOT a vegetable. Tomato and mayo sandwich? Excellent. (just ask Harriet the Spy). I'm roasting tomatoes for pasta tonight. mmmmmm.......
Blueberries. Where did you find those? It may be a way to get my grandson to eat fruits. I don't live to far from you, so I am sure we have the same groceries.

I saw those in the grocery store, but there was no explanation of what was added to them to make them taste like cotton candy. Grapes are delicious as they are - I'm really grossed out by these mutant "fruits." I was really bothered by the grape flavored apples they came out with a few years ago, but at least that was fruit flavored fruit. This is a little scary to me.
Sounds like Grapples. They are grape flavoured apples and smell like grape Kool-Aid.

Wow, that sounds amazing, and it might just convince my little one to eat fruit if it tastes like cotton candy! Our favorite fruit is mango, but mango's hard to pack and keep, it can get all mushy if put into a zip lock and it is messy to eat as a school snack, whereas grapes are perfect for these purposes. I also love figs, but too pricey to buy, and same with cherries, another favorite. Strawberries I like, but only the extremely sweet fresh-picked ones from a field, not the tasteless stuff on grocery shelves that are huge and have no flavor or are sour. So what are these cotton candy grapes called and where are they found? Are they in the produce section or what?
I tried those but couldn't get over the fact that I was eating fruit but
thinking of the fair. The flavor kind of grossed me out. Maybe it's because I truly love grapes. :)
