Does anyone know the best place to sell baby furniture? I have several items that my nine month old has out grown, and I am looking for the best place to sell them, I want a fair price and would prefer cash to store credit. I am open to any and all suggestions, thanks in advance.

What can I do next?

I haven't actually sold anythin yet but I did want to tell you that the Grapevine once upon a child is open I just today got an email from them with a new years coupon, but I will tell you that this location is packed so I don't know what they would buy but in the email it did say they are buying.

Hi, you can list all your stuff you want to get rid of on frimp.net. It's free, regardless of the number of items you are selling, and it encourages local exchanges, even though you can also sell nationwide. Hope this helps!

Try 'Kid to Kid'. However, my experience with them has been that if the items are not in like new condition, the store is likely not to accept the items. :)

Once upon a Child is a great store for that! I am not sure what their policy is on cash VS. store credit but I am pretty sure they offer cash!! There is one in Flower Mound and Grapevine that I am sure of. Check out their website!

I would wait until the Just Between Friends sale in the spring. You mark it yourself and make 70% of the sale price. Check out their website to find the sale closest to you.

I would consider selling it on Craigslist.com. That way you don't have to pay the commission that a resale shop would charge. It is a free of charge website where you can sell almost anything.

I have been very happy with the service a Once Upon a Child. I have sold many items there and gotten a fair deal. They have several locations throughout the metroplex. I will continue to do business with them.

I also want to recommend the Just Between Friends sale. I have been doing it for a couple of years and always make good money each time.

S.,

First I want to say thanks to Michelle for mentioning Just Between Friends! I am the owner of the Fort Worth franchise. I don't want to use Mamasource to hock my business (too much!) but just check us out at www.jbfsale.com/fortworth and I think you will like what you see. Our sale is at Will Rogers Memorial Center from February 26-March 2 and I think you can make pretty decent money with us. Like Michelle said, you decide what to sell it for and you get 70%. People LOVE to buy furniture at our sale - so it always goes first. We've been in business for 4 years and this is our 8th sale coming up - and we are planning for 500 consignors. Email me or call me with any questions - all my info is on the website - or here ____@____.com or ###-###-####. Thanks for reading and good luck! J. Morrison
