I want to do something super yummy and delish for dinner either tonight or tomorrow. I have thawed anthing out and honestly I would love a recipe either for the crockpot or something where I can just throw everything together, stick it in the oven and chill. Hubby is working his reg 2nd shift job plus his part time overnight so he wont be here and my toddler is staying with the inlaws tonight so it will just be me and the twins. and they are good with their bottles so if i have to thaw everything overnight and make it tomorrow that is okay too. any recipes where you dont have to thaw the meat out first??

to help, here are some ingredients I have on hand:
any and every spice you could think of
celery
garlic
radish
carrots
mushrooms
bonless chicken breast
chicken leg quarters
frozen shrimp(both cooked and uncooked)
a small package of petite strip steaks
" " " of boneless rib steaks or something like that
tons of canned veggies
frozen corn and broccoli
cream of mushroom and chicken
rice
potatoes
chicken broth(big container)

I know I can go online and put in my ingredients and get idea's but I want to hear what ya'll have to say. I know sometimes you can have one of those just throw it all together and see what happens days and it ends up being totally awesome!!!!! so, any ideas, suggestions, fav recipes????? what would you do? what are you doing for dinner?

HELP ME PLEASE!!!!! TIA, ya'll are awesome and beautiful and smart and wonderful and funny and fantastic!!!!!!!!!! Have a wonderful day!!!!!! help help help!!

Sue:

I would use the chicken leg quarters, broth, celery, garlic and carrots and put it all in the slow cooker....then make my rice and serve it over rice.....

Just put it all in the crock pot.
Season with cumin, salt, pepper...
chop up the vegetables first
Don't use the canned vegetables... it will get icky mushy in the crock pot
Add a little cooking wine

Do the rice on the side, making it separate.

I'd skip the crockpot and go right for the shrimp. You can do an easy scampi with broccoli and garlic over pasta -- my favorite!!

I sometimes make chicken spaghetti kind of like what Lucky posted but a little simpler, if you would like to know it you can PM me and I can tell you how I do it. It is pretty simple and doesn't take up much time at all. Very little work needed (which is my kind of work lol) =D
