I also am looking for a Christian dance school in southern Cal. We are in Oceanside CA and have not found any for my 11 year old. I'd appreciate any info if anyone has it!
It's not a Christian Dance School, but Carlsbad Dance Centre has great dance teachers, classes and environment. They are very aware of age appropriate music and costuming for their recitals.

The City of Carlsbad has an excellent dance program for girls (ballet, tap/jazz and hip hop, even swing and salsa for couples). It is not designated "Christian," but there are a lot of very nice families attending. It is reasonably priced, too. Calavera park is close to O'side. From the 78 go South on College, Rt on Carlsbad Village Dr. and the first left on Glasgow. The park is on the rt-hand side. Hope this helps. J.
There is a dance company in Rancho Bernardo that the owners are christian. It is Step by Step Dance.
My three daughters have attended Katharine's Academy of Dance in Vista for the past 10 years. It is a Christian dance studio that is also affordable and the teaching has been wonderful! We feel so blessed to of had the opportunity for the girls to be taught by knowledgeable, caring and Christian women all these years (we never would of been able to afford the other studios prices). The studio is at a temporary location in Vista right now but will be moving to a more permanent one in June, still in Vista.
