I am trying to make Cherry Mash for my husband for Christmas. In order to do this, I need to find cherry chips. They are just like chocolate chips except they are red and cherry flavored. Anyone know where I can find them? I have been to 3 grocery stores with no luck.

My mom and I were never able to find any locally. We looked everywhere over the area and all the way into Coppell. We called the bakery we often use (they sell all kinds of cake, candy, and baking supplies), she said they are not something usually found in stores. We ended up buying ours online.

Super target! I just bought,some the other day. I found them on an end cap with other holiday baking supplies. And I have seen them at multiple targets in the Dfw area, so I bet yours has some too!
I don't live in your area, but I found cherry chips at the Walmart here. You might call there and ask.
I would get a Denton and a Dallas phone book and call around before driving over. As much fun as it is to be so close both places, to have that ability to live in a small town but still have a huge city right there I would call and make a travel plan. I would also consider buying a couple of bags to have on hand just in case he really likes this recipe. Valentines Day is not too far off.
My hubby's aunt lives in Flower Mound on Buckeye. Love the area.
