It was awesome!!!!

We had our sucker wreath saying 50 sucks!

We filled her office with balloons and drew all over her white boards saying Happy Birthday

Filled her drawers with tiny balloons

And when she got there we snuck out and drew on her windows with window crayons saying Happy Birthday and 50's all over it.

She was all smiles with everything. She even dressed herself up today like an Old Granny and walked in with a cain. So her spirits were right along with ours and she Thanked us all for helping her enjoy her day even tho she was dreading the day.

Thanks for all the suggestions from the previous post.

What was the best prank you have ever done to a Friend/famiy member for a birthday?

What can I do next?

So glad it all worked out so well! And unlike a lot of your posters were concerned about, it appears that she does have quite the sense of humor!

Glad you had such a good time!

We once put a sign on the front of a car that said "Honk and wave, I'm 50 today." This was long ago. I'm sure law enforcement wouldn't allow it now. The person didn't see it before he got in his car and drove all day, wondering why he was getting all the honks and waves on his birthday. A fun memory.

the best family prank we ever did was on my nieces 18th birthday. She was born overseas while her dad was in the navy, which gives her dual citizenship. Her dad sent an official looking piece of mail that basically told her she had to chose which citizenship she was picking and if she didnt reply to this letter, they would be deporting her. The questioneer he made for her had such odd questions, we figured she had to know it was a joke (things like Have you ever lived in another state, if so, which mental institution were you in)

That November was time to vote and my older niece was asking her if she was excited to go vote with her, at which point my younger niece burst into tears and said she couldnt go because she never returned the paperword and they would find her and deport her.

She was very angry at first, but now, it makes everyone laugh.

How fun!

Some folks in the office turned my colleagues office up side down - everything - desk, chairs. Although she was not pleased, as she had to commit the time to clean up the mess....
