I'm not sure an app would help much with envelopes since it's real physical money, but I used to use Mint, check it out.

Check out YouNeedABudget.com They have a 34 day free trial.

I've used my own budgeting spreadsheets for a long time, but after I tried YNAB I was hooked. It works for computer, iPhone and Android.

Get Dave Ramsey's "Total Money Makeover" book. It is a great book and fun to read...You will be amazed what you can do. It has all the info on budgeting and how to be debt free including your HOUSE! Book only $10.00. You cna get online..he has website or at any bookstore. He is also on the radio in Houston M-F on AM 700 everyday at 2 PM. Please give his method a chance.

We use mint. It's free, and it keeps track of all your accounts. You can also set up budgets, and it will email you every week to show you how you're doing. It will also notify you if you're over budget. It's pretty nifty.
