Anyone Use Supperthyme?

I just found this company and I'm very curious about it. You go and prepare your meals for the week or month and pay a flat rate. They have all the ingredients and packaging. www.supperthymeusa.com. It's more expensive than I would normally spend on dinners so I'm curious if it's worth it.

What can I do next?

There is a website that I use called www.menue4moms.com. If you sign up, they send you a weekly menu and grocery list. It gives you all of the recipes and time saving cooking tips. It's not together with a bunch of people, but it gives great ideas and I'm able to tailor it to my families needs. I spend my usual budget on groceries and have some great ideas/recipes at my fingertips.

I have been using Supperthyme for almost a year now. LOVE IT! We have saved money on groceries because I don't have to keep as much on hand and wonder what to fix each night. They one I go to in Yukon is super clean and very friendly. We've been eating much healthier since going there (whenever possible, they use fat free/low fat). It has become a monthly ritual with my girlfriends. I tried Pass Your Plate, but found the food a lot fussier than what my family would eat.

Yes, I have tried Supper Thyme, and they are HORRIBLE!! The food is low quality (press-board chicken, like what you get at fast food places), the place where you prep your meals is not the cleanest, and it is pricier than some of the others. Dream Dinners is pretty pricey, but they're pretty good. The best one, by far, is Pass Your Plate. They are decently priced, and really wonderful. I go to the one on S. Western, so that's the only one I can really talk about. The meals are wonderful, and very high quality. The owners of that location are really great. I believe that they're opening a location in Norman too (those particular owners). I know the headquarters of the franchise are in Edmond, so you'd probably have a great experience at the one in Edmond too. Hope that helps!!

I agree with Megan. However, may I recommend getting together with a few friends and plan your meals, do your shopping, and preparing them at each others homes. Ive done this with friends in the past and it worked out great because we got good quality food and we knew that where we were preparing our food was clean. Oh and its more affordable as well! Best of luck!

I've never tried it but know people who have tried a place similar (same idea) and they loved it. Easy way for moms on the go to get dinner on the table.

Hi R.,

I personally have not used Supperthymeusa but my daughter does. She loves the meals and especially likes that the meals are easy to prepare, they add variety into her limited recipes that she is familiar with, and her kids will eat them with limited fuss. The only drawback is the price, but she decided that it's a fair trade...and a busy mom's life-saver.

Good luck...

I have done "Pass Your Plate" in Owasso and LOVE IT!!! Great food and very clean. May be a little more pricey but WAY healthier than eating and WAY CHEAPER than eating out. Plus I expose my family to more dishes that I wouldn't come up with myself so my kids are exposed to many different things than what I would have time to prepare if I did it myself. We also have "Super Suppers" which I heard was good and Tulsa has "Dinner Market" which I heard was good as well.

I think if you fine one of these places that is clean and has great dishes go for it!!

A lot of my friends use this company. I tried once, but it was WAY more expensive than I usually spend on dinner and I didn't think the meat was great quality. The meals tasted good though. If you eat out alot it's cheaper than that.
