You have to at least get an estimate from House of Madeira Inc. (Lake Zurich, Illinois; Tel#: 800-338-9793). They beat our COSTCO estimate by over a thousand dollars on HUNTER DOUGLAS. Its a family run business. Great quality and customer service. We were very please with them.
If you're a Costco member, take a look at their service. We used them and are very pleased. It may not be as affordable as someplace like 3 day blinds, but the quality is much higher and affordable for what you're getting.
No - but I thought I'd mention that a friend of mine mentioned this morning that JC Penney has a 70% off deal for custom blinds right now - might be worth taking a look.
A friend of mine used Budget Blinds and was very pleased with the quality and price.
I had my blinds done a couple of years ago by 3 Day Blinds. They are of great quality and the company was very helpful with everything. We went to the one on Clybourn and found that they held our hands every step of the way (which I appreciated because we ordered blinds for 13 windows). The cost wasn't bad either and we were offered an option to finance for up to 12 months at zero percent. Anyhow, we went in on a Sunday, the measurement guy came out on Monday and the blinds were installed within a week. Good luck
