I got married at the gaylord. We rented a suite for my bachelorette party and it was REALLY nice. If you are wanting to rent a suite, i would do it there. The staff is wonderful and they have a lot of packages all the time on their website.

Congrats!!!

The Gaylord Texan in Grapevine is very nice.

My husband and I are staying at the Worthington in Ft. Worth in December and are having dinner at Del Frisco's downtown. That's one of our favorite things to do.

Happy Anniversary!

I agree that the Gaylord is really nice. Our anniversary "tradition" when we lived in Keller was to go to the Reata, downtown Ft Worth. If the weather is nice, we loved sitting on the roof and enjoying the air, the lights, etc. The food is delicious, even if sitting inside, it is a lovely restaurant (we just liked the "downtown scene" on the roof). See what's going on at Bass Symphony & Orchestra Hall for when you're there, it's lovely. We also like Texas de Brazil a lot (a Brazilian steakhouse). If you are staying at the Gaylord though, another really tasty Brazilian steakhouse between Bedford and Grapevine is Boi Na Braza; it's closer. If you eat at one of the restaurants in the hotel, you MUST make reservations or NEVER get in. Or if you want to save a little money, maybe eat at PF Changs downtown, then walk to catch a play or hit a piano bar or go do some dancing on the back end of the square. Don't forget to look up events going on during the days you're going to be there.

Depending on how far away it is, I'd go on a cruise. You can take a 7 day cruise for two for about $1000. The cruise industry is hurting for passengrs and they have the best prices for cruises that I have ever seen and I went on my first cruise in 1980. We are going on our 18th cruise in January 2012.

Princess would be my first choice for a romantic cruise. (They were the host for the TV series "Love Boat" and they try very hard to live up to that concept.)

My second choice would be Carnival Cruise lines or Royal Caribbean.

CONGRATULATIONS ! ! ! Good luck to you and yours.

For our 10 year anniversary I took Boudoir photos. They are classy yet sexy. I compiled them into a photo album.

This local photographer was my inspiration. I love her work.

There is a great Hilton in Southlake, Towne Square I think. It is right off of a shopping/dining area. Great steak house, Cheesecake Factory, & a movie theater. I usually book a regular room & ask for an upgrade to a corner suite. Beautiful room, big tub, big shower! It makes it so nice because you don't have to drive anywhere, there is alot to do, and a great hotel to do nothing in if you want. It is our little get away! Happy Anniversary!
