There are a number of websites which will handhold you through it, I sometimes look at moneysaving mom and at passionatepennypincher.

They will go through that week's store circular, tell you what coupons to use, where to source them, and even offer you ideas on how to structure transactions to get the "best value".

We have limited space, limited time, and our local stores don't double coupons. What we do is track prices on our usual purchases, and load up when they are at their lowest. Also, we keep our menu flexible so that if I was thinking stuffed peppers, but zucchini is on discount, it will be stuffed zucchini instead.

good luck to you and yours,

I've tried, unsuccessfully. My best piece of advice is to find out the coupon policy of your local grocery stores before going to all the trouble of even clipping the coupons. None of the grocery stores in my town double coupons, so I can never get the deep discount. I get face value and that's it.

Good luck!

I am not a fanatic, especially since I use the store brand for so many items (almost always cheaper than coupon reduced brand names). For the brand name items that we do buy, I have two wallets with tabs - one for the grocery store and one for Target. I tried to align the tabs by the way I move through the store (e.g. produce, then meat, then dairy case) but they just redesigned our Target store - oh dear! When I'm successful, I file the coupons as I clip them then just grab the wallet when I head to the store. I don't know if this answers the question you were asking, but hope it helps~

Your Sunday paper has coupons. On Holiday weekends, there will NOT be any coupons in the paper.

There are websites:
http://www.pennypinchergazette.com
http://www.freecouponworld.com
http://www.coupons-4-free.com

There are more. But those will get you started.

Go through the sales fliers in the newspaper to match the coupons to get the most savings. Some stores do triple coupons up to .99cents every two or three months, many double up to .99 cents.

Have a list of what you need - clip the coupons for what you need. Bonus if it's on sale.

Make a menu for the week off the items that are on sale and you have coupons for.

Call or go websites like pillsbury.com, bettycrocker.com for more coupons of the products you might use more frequently but don't see in the newspaper. Most companies are pretty good about sending customers coupons - as it increases their sales!!!

Good luck!
