ok, so before i left the hospital last week, i got a tetanus booster because i was a few years past due for it. (right in the butt too, OUCH!!!)
since then, i've just been feeling really crummy-sore, achy joints, low grade fever, swollen lymph nodes, headache & chills. and i was reading in the info they had given me that these can be some reactions to a tetanus shot, but i guess its really rare for anybody to have this happen.

has anybody else ever had a reaction to an adult booster shot???

thanks,
C.

Yes, I had a reaction once and was miserable! I got my shot in the arm. My arm started to swell, was beat red, tender to the touch, I was uncomfortable, had a low grade fever, etc. I think I was fine after a week or so. But I could hardly believe that I had a reaction to a tetanus shot! Hang in there, I know it hurts.

It's possible to have all kinds of weird reactions to shots.
I pass out within 3-5 minutes after getting a tetanus booster.

What fun!!

This is NOT a coincidence. Why is the online media covering up that so many peopel get sick from the tetanus vaccine? I am currently having all the symptoms you mentioned, plus a burning in my chest that feels like bronchitis. And, they now have a bronchitis (whooping cough) vaccine in there, which would explain that.

It really pisses me off to read at most sites that symptoms will be minimal in most people. I've missed two days of school so far and don't feel any better.

In your situation this is normal to have those signs. I know it is not fun. I have had shots too and they would cause me have some simular symptoms. If it continues for 3 more days then I would call your doctor and make an appointment to be seen. Sometimes it takes a week to 10 days before those symptoms are gone. In the meantime we can pray about it. Jesus I pray for Cinthia I release your healing anointing power on her body and I say she is healed. By Jesus stripes she is healed. I say pain go in Jesus name. I plead the blood of Jesus over her. I thank you Jesus that she is healed and healthy. I thank you Jesus that you are strenghthening her right now. In Jesus name I pray amen..... Be blessed. :)

Could it be a coincidence and you just have the flu? I had the flu last week and you are describing how I felt. I was sick for at least a week with a fever for about 4 days.

I'm so sorry you're going through it. I had a bad reaction to a tetanus shot a few weeks ago! Felt MISERABLE, huge swollen lymph nodes. I ended up on prednisone...Make sure you see a doctor about it.
