Does anyone know much about the new Acai berry craze? Is it safe to take? My friend sells Monavie but I'm always a little leary about things like that...

Hi T., The Acai' berry is very safe and very healthy. I am also a distributor for MonaVie and recommend it to anyone! It has 1000x more anti-axoidants than the blueberry and can replace your daily fruit intake. It tastes good and is great for kids as well.

Our friends' parents distribute this, too, and gave us some to try at Christmas. I'm nursing, so had the same concerns as you. There's a green bottle and a purple bottle, and they told me to use the purple one. "Purple, like Barney, for nursing Mommies & kids" to quote them.

I asked my daughter's pediatrician about Monavie and she said that it was safe for kids. I also, researched it on the web. So far, they have not found anything wrong with it, unless your child is allergic to fruit or berries. I give it to my 10 year old and my sister gives it to her 15 month old. I noticed the kids don't get sick as often and they get their dose of fruits for the day. Ask your kids doctor to be sure.

I don't know much about it, but if they have it at Jamba Juice, it is definitely safe...

T., jumping on the band wagon, I to am a distributor and I am a baby boomer concerned with my health. Since consuming this product non-stop for almost 9 months I have never been sick and I give the purple gel pack to my 7 year old granddaughter. Give it a try. Great for my hot flashes which have now diminished and blood pressure back to normal.

Your friend truly loves and cares about you and has given you a gift so huge it will change you and your family's lives. I have been drinking MonaVie for 8 months now. The biggest change I noticed is mental clarity and a simple lifting of my spirit. Some minor aches and pains I had have gone away. Do exactly what your friends suggests for the next 3-6 months and you will thank her for years to come.
