There is a campground attached to an amusement park...I don't think it's near water but I'm not certain. It's Knoebles Grove in Ennis, PA. My cousins went there every year growing up and now they bring their kids. Hope this helps or consider it as an option.

We have been going to Panther Lake Campgrounds in Panther Lake and love it. My kids really enjoy the freedom they get up there. The only thing is it's in Panther Lake NJ but it's right over the bridge in NJ. The owners keep a beautiful Campground with lots of things for the kids to do. Check it out online.

You can look on the PA DCNR page for state parks. Many of those with campgrounds have cabins as well. I visited quite a few of them last summer and they were great!

This is an awesome place to go. We love it. The amusement park is free to get into and you only pay for the rides you ride. You buy ticket books instead of a ticket to get in. The parking is free and the campground is near by. There are a bunch of fun family things to do in the area too. If you go during the 4th of July week there is a carnival in a near by town called Millville. Have fun with where ever you decide to go. We chose Knoebels because we got more bang for our buck given our kids ages 8,6,4, and 2!

Hi, we go to a place called Hills Creek right near Wellsboro. Its between Mansfield and Wellsboro. Then have beautiful cabins, a lake you can walk around, a tenting place, places to put campers. Its a lot of fun. There is a playground for the kids and a place to swim. Hope this helps!

God bless,
Lisa

We have actually been researching this too... I found several on the national parks site.

I think this will be the one we go to if we get a chance this summer.

There are many listed that have cabins, although I don't recall if this one in particular has them.

Hi, try Driftstone campground on the Delaware river. Here is their website. http://www.driftstone.com/

My family and I went there years ago when I was growing up and we loved it. Kids can go rafting, canoeing, fishing...

If you are up for a little bit more adventure, you can camp at Hershey Park campground. I was there just 2 years ago and they you can buy discount park tickets at the campground as well.

Hi: Look into Yogi Bear and KOA campgrounds. They have great cabins and activties for the kids all day long. I think there might be one near Sesame Place depending on how young the kids are. Good luck, I love camping my with hubby and kids.

Hi, I don't know of any in PA but we go to one in Phoenicia NY in Catskills called Black Bear Campground.

It is very reasonable, in the woods on a huge river and is a lot of fun. You can walk across the street to the canoe and tube rental and walk right into the little town where there are lots of cute little shops and restaurants.
