This is our first 4th of July in the area. We know there has been a few firework shows in the past weekends. but does anyone have any family ideas or good places to go?

Mount Clemens has a great one and Sterling Heights had a good one, but we just heard that they cancelled them for this year do to sponsorship.

We love to go to the Rochester Hills fireworks at Borden Park which is located at John R and Hamlin Rd. They are on July 1st this year and there is lots of stuff going on at the park all day long.
Saturday july 5th are the algonac fire works they are great we go every year. They have a carnival too. We just went to the mt.clemens ones this past friday and they were great so for next year youshould go to those.
Sorry you didn't post this earlier. Mount Clemens just had their fireworks this past Friday with the Stars and Stripes Festival. It seems like a lot of communities did their fireworks early this year for some reason. The other thing you can check is Canada Day is July 1, and you may be able to catch some of them along the water from Sarnia and smaller communities along the river.

Try Clawson, they have alot going on, small carnival, craft show, talent shows, etc and fireworks at 10:00
