Resently my apartment burnt down and me and family lost everything. Whell my co workers got together and took up a collection for us and also donated TONS of clothes and toys. I need a good and cheap way to show my appriciation besides just saying thank yo9u to everyone which I have already done. TIA

What can I do next?

How about a really nice hand-made thank you that you can put up in the office for everyone that helped to see. You could take a picture of your girls with the new toys or clothes holding a sign that said "Thank You" and then you can write a nice note thanking everyone for all their help and all of you can sign it.

I know I would love seeing something like that from someone I helped...and it will be free except the cost of paper and a picture.

I hope things are looking up for you! How wonderful to have a geat network of co-workers!

How about a photograph of you and your family in your new place (however temporary), or a pic of the kids playing with the toys they were given during this difficult time? With a digital camera, you can make as many copies of any of the pics you take, and you can mix 'n match the pics, so you won't feel like you're sending a "carbon of a carbon of a carbon" to everyone who helped you. [Make sure you identify everyone and the kids' ages on the backs of the photos, along with the date you had it taken (month and year should be sufficient).]

So sorry about the fire...but "things" can be replaced, and your family could not! Glad everyone made it out okay!!!

I think the handmade thank-you cards is a great idea! Or even some cheap ones from the dollar store would be nice. Anything personal. Maybe even include a picture of your kids playing with the toys they donated! :) Hope things are better for you and your family! Congrats on the upcoming birth of your baby!

What a great circle of friends you have there! I think thank you cards with your hand-written words of gratitute would be just fine.
