I would think long and hard about this. I think the risks are far worse than the seemingly results. My cousin had "lipo" don't know what kind, but I believe suction and sculputre are the same...but they changed the name to make it more appealing and take the stigma off. Anyway, she looked great for a little bit and then looked worse than before. If you do not change your diet the fat will come back and it will redistribute in places it never did before. I belive the best way is to change your diet...I don't mean go on a crash or fad diet, I mean a true lifestyle change. I went from a tight 12 and have been a 6 for several years. I did what the Skinny B![{& books promote, but 5 yrs ago on while studying Holistic Nutrition. I eat as much of an organic diet as possible, everyone says it is too expensive (not nearly as much as lipo). I told a friend of mine that, she did not believe me, but tried it and lost weight). You see, organics have more nutrients which are absorbed easier and no pesticides and chemicals. The liver, heart and other digestive organs have to work 3 times as hard to digest non-organics, because they have to filter all the toxins. Also, when you eat any meat, the body can take up to 3 days to be elliminated. I started by doing a detox diet: fruits, veggies, brown/ basmati rice, agave nectar (for sweetner is ok) protein (ezekial bread, nuts, beans/ lentils, quinoa), fat (flaxseed, avocado). Make sure you have 45%, protein 10% fat at every meal. I ate as much as I wanted, felt much better, that I kept it up for 5 yrs(I eat organic potatos, soy, sweet potato and corn now). In the long run, avoid high fructose corn syrup, D & C dyes, msg, dairy (they now make great alternatives, even ice cream). If you try something like this you may never need to consider "lipo". Foods like this are a big plus for your child. I hope this helps you to reconsider. C

You have to be very discipline and cut back on your food and exercise. Try to do this for about two-three months before you do anything else because you gain back the weight in no time if you don't diet and exercise. Also your skin your body and your health has a lot to do with it. Talk to your doctor first.

I offer a service called MicroCurrent body sculpting and firming.
This is a non invasive service that tightens and firms the skin and stimulates the muscles to go back to where they were when we were younger.
I would be happy to give you a demo treatment, if you are interested.

N., good question, interested in any responses. Looking to have one myself. I saw an advertisement in the 2008 Top San Antonio Doctors Magazine, but don't know of anyone personally having gone to this clinic, so I can't recommend it, but here's the website: http://www.baroneplasticsurgery.com/
