3 Year Old Will Only Wear the Same Clothes over and over...big Fights!

I have a 3 year old daughter who has always preferred to be in her underwear only. Now that we are entering the colder weather, the struggles to get dressed in the morning have escalated and it has become an all-out battle to get to preschool and work on time. She has favored a couple of skirts and shirts for the duration of the summer, and if I present these to her, she will happily comply, but now that I am presenting pants (always favoring tagless, zipperless, loose and soft over tight, stiff and constrictive) and socks (no seam across...

Homeschooling a 3 Year Old

Any advice on starting a cuuriculum for my 3 year old. I'm a SAHM and our budget is slim, right now I can't afford to get him into half day preschool. The least expensive I've found is $95 a week. So I've been seriously thinking of homeschooling him. What advice, websites and curriculum can be beneficial and easy to teach. Thanks moms

3-Year Old Bedroom Disaster Area

My 3-year old DD's bedroom is a disaster area!! She has a shelf unit for books and in the bottom is two pink see through totes, two baskets and a toy box. It does not matter what I do or how we arrange the books and toys, my daughter cannot put her things away! She likes to clean things, but I think her room gets to be such a mess that she is overwhelmed. We have cleaned through some of the toys to give away, but she cannot part with the stuffed animals or a set of little McDonald's doll toys. She gets frustrated that she cannot...

Having a Hard Time Trying to Teach My 4 Year Old!!!!

Hello wonderful moms! I need your help. My 4 year old is having a hard time focusing. Since I'm a SAHM and we don't really have the funds to send him to a preschool, I try to teach him myself a long with my 21 month old son. He is very smart BUT its like he dont apply hisself. My husband told him he wants a SMART kid not the COOL kid. My son then says to his father, "Well I want to be cool, not smart!" We can sit down and try to do his workbooks and worksheets and he wants to play, or he starts talking about something that has nothing to...

Embarrassed That 3-Year-old Is Still in Sleep Sack

It's not a tragedy by any means, but my 3-year-old refuses to surrender her sleep sacks. She just about still fits in them and does use a blanket. And (sigh), not potty-trained yet so that's not an issue---yet. (Wish it was!) I say we have to make them "disappear" in order to resolve this--that is if there is anything to resolve. I guess I could keep letting her use them as they probably provide a sense of security. Anyone else have "little big ones" still in a sleep sack? ***PLEASE DO NOT ASSUME THAT I AM NOT POTTY TRAINING MY...
