Forgive me if this has already been asked. I DVRed the 2 hour premiere not expecting much. I freakin loved it! I thought I would have a hard time remembering what all the backstory was and getting into it. Nope. I was hooked from about 3 minutes in. I love how they made it so current and put so many crazy twists in. I'm already trying to figure out who's the good guy, who's really working for who, who's double crossing who???? ANd the new generation of boys are smokin hot! I can't wait for the next episode. It's my new "must see." Are you hooked too? Are there any other suprise shows that can't believe how much you love love love them?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

@Demetra - that was one of my favorite parts. All the areial views of the new Dallas Skyline and sights I see on a regular basis. It's as if I could just pop over to Southfork for a whiskey on the rocks with JR.
Oh yeah, that's another part I loved. JR in a home and using a walker! That was hilarious! He was going all dark and evil and causing trouble, then he got up and leaned on his little red walker and shuffled away! I giggled until I thought I was going to pee myself. The mighty JR in an old age home that wont let him make international calls. Thats good writing!

I didn't watch it because I didn't think it would be that good. Now I'm going to go home and turn on On Demand and see what I missed!

I watched it. I completely expected not to like it and for it to be terrible. I have to admit...I loved it and thought it was really well done! I will be turning in for sure.

I watched half of it last night before i fell asleep. It was awesome. I loved it too and JR is still the same lol. I think I was more excited because I actually go to church on the SouthFork Ranch where they filmed it and it make the show even more realistic. I feel like I am apart of the show literally. I remember my grandmother making me watch it with her as a kid so I am very nostalgic about it all.

OK, HUGE fan of the original Dallas here . . . unfortunately I did not like the re-make! I guess I am in the minority view, but to me it didn't even come close to the brilliance of the original. I *did* love seeing Bobby & JR & goodness gracious did Linda Gray look amazing or what?

I did not like the love interests of the young guys. They hardly seemed on par with Pamela and Sue Ellen. Not even close.

I also did not like the cinematography feel of it. I prefer the way the original was shot (however that was).

And not to be nit-picky but the interior of South Fork didn't look right to me either.

Sigh . . . sorry ladies! I'm glad you all liked it though.
