Aquaphor, Eczema and Bum Genius Diapers

My son has severe eczema on his entire body and sometimes we are applying Aquaphor 3 times (or more) a day. I was told by Bum Genius reps that this cream would affect the absorbency of my Bum Genius diapers. I have been using Pampers but really want to cloth diaper. My son does not have a reaction to the diapers. It is more the issue of the diapers having a reaction to the creams I am using on his skin. Any suggestions? 1. Psoriasis or Eczema

I have these patches of dry skin on my ankles. It's either Psoriasis or Eczema, I have been to the different doctors and they say both. I have tried everything I can get my hands on to get rid of it but nothing works. Some things work temporarily, but nothing long term. Please any advice on what I can use to get rid of it or at least get it under control.

Child Has Hives

I took my 18 month old to the doctor today with hives. She had one spot last night and when she woke up her legs were all broken out. Within hours it continued to spread rapidly. She does not have a fever, and everything else checked out fine. The doctor thought it could be viral and it would go away soon on its own. Have you all had any experience with hives that spread this quickly? The doctor ruled out Fifth's Disease and Hand, Foot, Mouth disease...anything else I need to be worried about?

Help with Son's Itchy Skin!

Hi! This is my first request on Mamasource. Both of my children have eczema (all over their bodies, but worse on their hands and feet). We have prescription steroid cream that we use when needed, but their skin never completely clears up. My son is so itchy that he wakes up at night. He is miserable and can't stop itching (mostly his feet). My daughter itches her arms and legs so much that she makes herself bleed. We have been giving my son benadryl each night, and that only seems to help for 6-8 hours. Any suggestions to get this...

2 Yr Old's Finger "Injury"

Hi Mamas ~ Hubby & I noticed a strange thing with our daughter's fingertips - some appear to have been burned ! Her thumbs, first finger, and middle finger on BOTH hands have, what appear to be, previous burn injuries and are now "peeling".
