Too Much Princess?

My parents watch my 2 year old two days a week and are great with her. They have more than just a occasional grandparent role in her life and have a big influence on her. No offense to anyone, but my husband and I don't like princess and all things girly for her. She certainly wears pink and has dolls, but we also expose her to Curious George, Elmo, sports etc. We just don't love princess as a role model. Buying Clothes for a Picky Almost 3 Year Old

My daughter is extremely particular about the clothes she wears. I buy what I think she'll like and then she turns her nose up. I take her with me and she chooses something, but then when we get home, she won't have anything to do with it. Anyone gone through this? What do you do? I gave up long ago the idea of my daughter dressed in totally coordinating, super cute clothes. She likes what she likes but I have a hard time figuring out what to get her.

Taking a 2 Year Old to an Elmo Show?

Hey moms! I just found out that Elmo's Healthy Heros will be in our town a week after my daughter turns two. She is the biggest Elmo fan....has always liked Elmo, but is just now starting to sit down and watch Elmo's World. She is 22 months now...we are thinking of taking her to this show, but I have no idea if she will sit and care, or not. What has been your experience with a very young two year old at things like this? Should we try, or is it not worth it? Thanks in advance!
