Good Large Print Books for Bedtime Reading for 3 Year Old

Can folks recommend any good Large Print (or at least black font on white background) books for bedtime reading for a 3 year old? In so many of the books that we have, the font is tiny, or it is obscured by a dark background, so it is hard for my son to make out the letters, and sometimes for me, too. Thanks. best, P.

Seeking Advice on Co Sleeping

We have been cosleeping with my 15 month son since he was born. It has never been easy. He still wakes up a lot! sometimes every 2 hours (if were lucky) sometimes every 40 minutes. He'll wake up upset and kicking, looking for me. I usually nurse him back to sleep. He gets more upset if I try to rock him down without the breast. Sometimes he takes in a full let down of milk, other times he just comfort sucks and falls back asleep. I don't really want to be talked out of cosleeping, but I am wondering if other moms have gone through this. Is...

What Age for a Toddler Bed?

We have a 15-month-old and while I know she isn't ready for a Toddler bed yet, but since it is upon us in the near future I am curious to know when we should start to consider it. That being said, when did you graduate your little one to a Toddler Bed? What are some signs that you used to know that they were ready for it?

Looking for Boy Bedding

My husband and I have spent way too many hours doing searches for bedding for our son. He's 4 and we want something that will last a long time (quality and interest). We are anti-commercial / anti-character, so even though he loves Disney Cars (the original...we didn't let him see Cars 2 because of things like missiles...yes, we're against that too : - ) we don't want to do his room in that. He's obsessed with all things cars and racing and especially loves muscle cars (think late 60's Ford Mustangs). He loves car shows more than...

2Nd Baby Shower and Don't Know the Sex

A friend of mine offered to throw me a baby shower for my second baby. I have a daughter who will be 2-1/2 when the baby is born, so we still have most of the basics. In fact, all the things we truly need or want are too expensive (all the bedroom furniture for the 2-1/2 year old b/c the baby will get her crib, dresser, bookshelf, chair, etc.), and a double Bob stroller, and we aren't finding out if it's a boy or a girl, so if it IS a boy, we will need clothes, but we won't know until the baby is born. My question is two-fold: 1. ...

Infant and Bob Stroller

I have a Bob stroller with the infant car seat adapter. Does anyone know at what age I can start jogging with my baby. The Bob website says 8 weeks to ride in one and 8 mo. to jog with one. And then it says, "With the addition of the Infant Car Seat Adapter, newborns can safely ride in the stroller" It wasn't very clear, would it be safe to jog or not? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is the Asymmetrical Bob Still "In"?

Hi ladies! I have a silly hairstyle question for you all- is the cute asymmetrical bob hairstyle still "in" or is it a thing of the past? I still wear this style because I really think it is the best style for my face, but I was just curious if there is another similar style out there that may be a bit more "modern". I get my hair cut in 3 weeks and was thinking of switching it up a bit. (I haven't had it cut since January) Thanks!!
