Going on Vacation and My Toddler Is Too Big for a Pack N Play...

Hi Moms/Dads, We are going on vacation in less than a week and my 2 year old is too big for a pack n play and the beds where we are going are high up and not ideal for a 2 y/o. I have bed rails I can bring but that means my husband and I would share a bed with her...we are fine with this but she's a light sleeper and wakes if bumped. I've looked into renting a crib but the cost would be $160 (I could buy a crib for this amount!). I'm sure others have came across this issue so I'm just wondering where you had your 2 year old sleep on...

Best Baby-Gate for Top of Stairs

Hi, I am in the midst of baby-proofing, and I am hoping for some advice about the gate for the top of the stairs. We would like one that would be easy to open and shut, and be sturdy at the same time. We have a safety 1st one for his room doorway, but it doesn't seem like it is so easy to open and shut, and for the stairs, with lots of traffic, we want one that opens and shuts easily. Thanks!

Baby Gate for Stairs

Hi, I'm looking for a baby gate that will work well with stairs that have a banister on both sides. I've found tension-mounted gates for doorways, as well as some that work for a banister on one side and a wall on the other, but nothing that works with stairs that have railings on both sides. Since this is for my parents' new house, I'm hoping for something that looks nice (wood, or white-painted metal would probably be good) and will last (my son is the first grandkid, and I have no doubt that there will be more eventually). Any ideas? Thanks!
