Puppy Scratched Toddlers Face -- 2 Questions

A neighborhood puppy scratched my 20 month old's face. Fortunately he received only a slight scratch on the top of and above his mouth and it did not bleed. It is red. I spoke to the doctor who said that all is OK etc. But I would appreciate any similar stories or input as to anything I should do or not do re: 1. Helping scratch heal (should I put aquaphor, vaseline? neosporin?) 2. Should I allow my little one to play with know neighborhood puppies? 3 Year Old's Dry, Itchy Hands

My daughter started preschool a couple of months ago and they have her wash her hands very frequently. She now has extremely dry, cracked hands. I had the class switch to softsoap and have used aquaphor ointment on her hands with little success. Does anyone have recommendations on how to fix this problem?

11 Month Old with Bad Eczema

Hello ladies, My 11 month old daughter has had eczema since she was 5 months old and I feel as she gets older, her eczema is getting worse. I've tried aquaphor, A&D ointment, baby aveeno eczema cream and baby wash and my pediatrician even gave me a prescription for her that contained hydro cortisone cream and nothing has worked. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

HELP! I Have Eczema

I was diagnosed last summer with eczema. I have breakouts on my legs and under arms. I have been using a steroid cream for 8 months. It controls the symptoms but I don't want to keep using it due to the side effects. Has anyone else had this condition? And what other alternatives can I use to keep it under control. I already use soaps without dyes or fragrances. I use Cetaphil lotion. I am open to any suggestions. Thanks!
