I Think Something Is Wrong with My Lady Parts

Hey Mamas,

I have been having mild to severe cramping, like during my period, for at least a week now. I have experienced increased vaginal discharge. It is either clear or white, has no foul odor, and is very thin. My period ended on the 17th, also the first time I have had sex in a LONG time. Then on the 18th this all started, and has not stopped. I just moved, and haven't had an appt with my new obgyn yet. I tried calling the office today, but it is closed for the holidays. What is going on with me? I hope you ladies can help!

TIA!

What can I do next?

Hello! I am not a doctor. So it could be a couple of things...

1. sexual transmitted disease
2. ovulation cramping - not all women get it and some don't experience until after they have had a couple of kids.
3. uterine infection - like strepB - that is USUALLY presents itself when you are pregnant - however, CAN happen to women who are NOT pregnant.
4. vaginal infection.

My opinion is leaning towards #2...i hope you are able to get to the Dr tomorrow and on the path to feeling well!!!

I have no idea what the problem could be. Get to the docs soon and I hope you feel back to normal soon too.

Paired with the increased discharge, sounds like ovulation cramping. I NEVER had cramps until I had my 3rd child (never had PMS until he was born, either).

One thing to think about, if it hurts almost like all the way through (like someone's stabbing you with a red hot fire poker through your ovary and almost out your back through your kidney), that's a HUGE indication of ovarian cysts, which are almost always harmless, but need to get checked out none the less.

Feel better!

Sorry your not feeling well. Maybe....your sexual partner was "very blessed" or a little rough. Or maybe it could just be that you haven't had sex in awhile. Hopefully you can get an appointment ASAP. Good Luck!!!

Sounds like extreme ovulation cramping....with normal ovulation discharge.

Does Alleve or motrin help with the cramping? Or a heat pad? Take a hot bath, have a cup of chamomile, and go to sleep early.

Sometimes after a long period of no sex, than having sex it signals my body to ovulate.

I would clean the tub really well and take a nice hot bath. Hope you feel better.

Sounds like you are ovulating to me! If you are still experiencing cramping, though, that may be a sign that something else is wrong. Usually ovulation pain doesn't last THAT long. Good luck--I hope you feel better soon.

Maybe middlesmirtz (sp?) (sounds like middle-smerts). Cramping during ovulation. Either that ir implatation if you may be pregnant. One day is way too early for an STD to rew, if it continues to bother you, call the ob/gyn
