My girls love to dance, but whose girls this age don't. I've been trying to do some research for childrens dance classes close to home but I'm only finding classes in Oakland and Berkeley, anyone know of anything closer to Pinole? Even the ones in Berkeley are closed, I guess I'm late in the season. Any ideas would be appreciated.

It's not Pinole but there is CAPA dance in Moraga. All types of dance taught throughout the year. They do a great Nutcracker over the holidays. You should take your girls and check it out. Good luck!
Adrienne's dance studio is right across the street from Fernandez Park. I had my granddaughter there for a while. You have to watch the instructor's though. My GD's instructor would start the 45 minute class 10 minutes late and dismiss them 5 minutes early so 1/3 of the class was cut out. After a couple of months of this, I took my granddaughter out. Didn't feel like I was getting what I paid for. I'm going to try the dance studio in Rodeo next. It's right on that main street (San Pablo Ave?) at the curve before you start going out of town.
I've got the PERFECT place. I've danced there for almost 10 years. It's called Sherri's Dance Studio in El Sobrante. I used to live in Pinole and I live in Danville and used to travel to El Sobrante until I got pregnant. This place has GREAT, caring teachers and I HIGHLY recommend it - plus it is affordable. It is not a stuffy studio. I think they start at 3 years old, but you could maybe talk to them if your daughter is ready at 2 1/2 .
