Dear T. ,
The only advice I can offer you is , don't wait for your significant other to change . The only person we can change , and that can change things around is us. It takes a tremendous amount of strenght , but it is within you . There are counselors at women's shelters that you may wish to contact and talk with before you make any solid decision about your next move . There they have women that have been in your situation and that have found the strenght to break loose. Build a positve emotional network for yourself .They also have attorneys I believe at low cost or no cost that can help you pin the father down and make him pay. Ultimately you need a positive boost , find a church that offers counseling and emotional support in your situation. Advice is easy togive when one does not walk the walk if you know what I mean . You are already taking a big step to reach out by posting your situation and seeking help. Stay positive and stay strong , there is a Heroe withing you .

Hi T.!
I'm sorry that you feel like you're at the end of your rope. I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have my husband and had to care for my daughter alone. You mentioned God, so I'm assuming your a Christian. You said that he gave moms a wonderful job, that could not be more true! He wants to bless you, sometimes He allows us to go through hard times so that we may appreciate Him more! I attend Community Bible Church off of Loop 1604 and Gold Canyon. I have heard many stories on how the church can pull its resources together and help out people that want help. There are also a few singles groups that focus on support for single moms/parents. Visit the website, it is CommunityBible.com and look into the Singles groups. This may not have been the advice you were looking for, but trust in the Lord and all things will fall into place. God bless and I pray things go good for you in your transition.

My best advice is to start praying. If your in a bad situation and you know it- then you need to find those that are positive in your life and ask for help. Perhaps family or friends would give you a place to live until you could find your own place. As far as work- there are many jobs out there you just have to start looking. If being with your children is most is most important than working from home might be a better option. I work from home because I to wanted to be home for my children. Visit my website: www.AHomeCareer.com - I work with an awesome team that offers free training for P/T or F/T income. I would be happy to share with you what I do.

Blessings, C.
