Do they have a Goodwill? Salvation Army? Women's Shelter? All would gladly take those items, I would think.

There are a handful of thrift stores out here in Wasilla, and most if not all will take donations. I "binged" "thrift stores in Wasilla", and got a list of about five. I'm sure you can do the same thing for Anchorage.

Good Luck!

You can call big brothers/big sisters or ARC of Anchorage and they will pick it up. Or post it on freecycle.

I don't know anything about where you live, but why not try Salvation Army or a church, if not luck try craigslist (just don't let anyone in your house!)
