Reactions to Putting a Dog to Sleep
Sadly, we need to put our dog to sleep this afternnon. My 4 year old daughter absolutely loves our dog and has never known life without him. We have been preparing her for this for a few months now, telling her that he will go to the vet and that the vet will take him up to Heaven where he can play with her Pap Pap. She seems to comprehend, albeit on a very simple level. I'm wondering if anyone else has gone through this and how their child reacted.
