New Singulair Side Effects

Has anyone noticed subtle changes in their child while taking Singulair? My 11 year old has allergies and asthma and has been on Singulair (and other meds) for a long time on and off. I notice distict changes in mood, behavior and sleeping habits while on Singulair. I brought it up to our pediatrician several years ago and he brushed it off as being perfectly safe. 3 Year Old Sleep Habits

Ok, my oldest will be 3 next week and for the past few weeks she has not been sleeping thru the night AND getting up at 7-7:30am everyday! That may sound normal to most but for us it is not. My kids are night owls. They go to bed by 10pm and sleep til 9am, at least my 17mo old still does. I am 4 mo pg with my third and I really need my rest. I have a 5 yr old daughter who gets a wicked cough a few times a year. This past trip to the ped he suggested we start her on 4 mg of Singulair. My husband is asthmatic and the ped feels that there is a possibility that she may be diagnosed later in life with asthma.
