Baby Carrier Recommendations

I just asked a question about helpful hints for when baby number 2 arrives and someone that responded kindly mentioned a baby sling to help out. I think this is an awesome idea and actually meant to ask this a while back but lo and behold pregnancy brain kicked in and I forgot =) When we were shopping for baby items for my first we bought a Moby sling (the large and long stretchy piece of fabric that can be tied many ways) and I HATED it. It was in my opinion the biggest waste of $60. I found it very hard to tie to where if felt...

Infantino Vs. Ergo Carrier

Hello Moms! I have a friend thats interested in getting a carrier. I told her that I've read and heard great things about the Ergo Carrier. She sent me an email today and I wanted to know your thoughts/advice, since I only own a sling and have no experience with either the Infantino or the Ergo. I had a quick question. I'm looking for baby carriers...and I definitely don't want the sling. My husband mentioned that you were recommended the ERGO carrier? I read some reviews on it, and it sounds great. But my husband is a bit hesistant...

Recommendations for Shopping Cart Covers

Hello, Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced shopping cart cover? There are not many reviews on this. I'm not looking for all the bells and whistles. Just something that will work on all cart sizes and will completely cover the cart. Having their own safety straps is a plus too as well as very low key print. The Baby Bargains book does not recommend Infantino. I'm interested in Baby Ease Clean Shopper - any thoughts?

Peanut Shell Vs. Moby Wrap or Something Else?

Hi everyone, I'm expecting my second baby in about 10 weeks. I have an Ergo Baby Carrier, which I LOVE, but feel that it's a bit too "loose" and big for a newborn. I DO have the newborn ergo insert but my baby was too long for it. Since she was a girl, I am thinking that the second one (a boy) may be longer and probably won't fit in it either. (I have a shorter torso so I found that there wasn't as much surface area for a newborn to lie diagonally on me, as directed by the Ergo newborn insert video. I plan on wearing baby #2 from day...

To Sling or Not to Sling....

Expecting my second child this summer and trying to determine if I want to purchase and use a sling carrier. Used a Bjorn with my first, and loved it, but now that I will be out and about more chasing after the first while carrying the second, am wondering if a sling is a better option. Looking for experiences, opinions, and brand preferences.
