So What Happened?

God Bless, and thanks to everyone who answered my request. We are going to try the Incarnate Word Dance classes because I have heard that they are reasonable in price,I know that sometimes you get what you pay for, too. But let's see if my husband will not be to embarressed to try the steps before we committed to classes that are a little pricey. He(my husband) did say that he will try the classes, so lets see what happens. I can't wait,I'm so excited, I know that this will rekindle our 31 years of marriage,at least, because for one, I will be held close and there will be no sports to interfere, for that whole hour.LOL.Thanks again I will let you know how it went, who knows maybe we will be as good as"Dancing with the Stars" dancers, lol. or maybe not. Just between us women, we are better dancers then men, that's my opinion.LOL

Hi T.,

I have not been yet, but I've researched and asked around previously as well. I've heard Arthur Murray is just ok, but they will try to sell you long term. The one I was leaning towards was Semeneya on Loop 410 and Perrin Beitel next to the Academy. The people seemed pretty nice there and from the website it seems their Latin dance would be very strong. I've known a few people who have been and really enjoyed it. When I called the lady said you can pay monthly tuition or pay lesson by lesson. If I remember correctly it's like $10 per person per lesson or you get a discount for the month. The website is www.semeneyaballroom.com but you will have to call for he correct pricing ###-###-####. Good luck and have fun!

They include salsa, merengue, tango, bolero, danson, swing, waltz, cha cha cha. Cost is only $3 for 1 hr lesson at 7PM and a free dance follows at 8PM.

Not sure about the dance lessons BUT I have been married for 16 years and I recently told my husband that we need to do something for each other every other month that is romantic. I told him if it lead to sex that was great but it wasn't necessary. He really surprised me. I came home one day as I always do at lunch and He had taked off the day to do yard work. He was working in the yard when I went to work that morning, but he went in and cleaned up and put on his best suit and tie and had a rose for me when I came home. As I was walking in the door he reinacted the scene from "Shall We Dance" my favorite movie. He came around the corner all decked out and gave me the rose and asked me to dance. We went into the living room and he had the movie keyed up to that same moment in the movie, he flipped the remote and we dance to the movie and the music and it was to tender. I was so touched and cried and was really surprised as to how romantic he could be. So just tell him let's reconnect and get back to the way things where when we were dating. I worked for me.
