Does anyone have any advice when ordereing a camera online? Looking for a repultable company.
I am looking to order the DSLR Canon t4i or T5i depending on price. I would like to get a company that i don't have to pay taxes.

What can I do next?

B&H Photo & Video has been around for years and we have ordered from them several times. Good prices and customer service. I have taken a few photography classes here and there and the instructors (many of them professional photography owners) have all recommended them too. BTW, Consumer Reports just came out with a new report on the best cameras--point & shoots & DSLRs, etc. so you might check that out too to help you narrow down the make & model (I know our library has copies of that magazine if you can't get your hands on a copy of your own). I believe it is the August issue--I was just looking at it over the weekend at a relative's house. Good luck!

Only do it if you know exactly what you want. Personally, I would rather purchase it from a reputable store, in case of problems. If you must order on line, go to a store first and compare prices.

My only advice is to go to a store like Best Buy or something and see if you can try the model. If you can go home and find the model cheaper on-line then great. My hubby bought a camera not long ago specifically looking for a model that would take pictures more quickly (less delay between pressing the button and the picture actually being taken). The camera we got is actually worse about this than the one we had before!!

Be careful as some of them online are not US/English models so everything is in another language

I order our camera equipment from B & H and Adorama. We have used them for years and years. I am not comfortable buying costly cameras off Amazon. I LOVE Amazon, just not for photography equipment.
