Hello....my 5 1/2 year old is asking for piano lessons. We have a piano. We would prefer someone to come into the house, but also could take her to lessons in the Temple Terrace, New Tampa area. Does anyone out there have suggestions or is anyone out there a piano teacher! :) Thank you!
I know a great teacher but she's in East Lake park area, just outside Temple Terrace and very close to the Hard Rock casino.

I'm a piano teacher and love kids. I've been teaching for 15 years now and offer piano, violin, viola, voice and music for toddlers and pre-schoolers. Right now I do it out of my home in Land O Lakes which might be close to you. I can offer a couple lessons free to see if your little one enjoys it. It is a good age to begin and the fact that you have a piano speaks volumes! I also have a couple different methods to work with. Katherine Hintz is a great music teacher and teaches private lessons for piano, amongst other instruments as well. She is wonderful with kids. I know she does lessons in her home in Stonegate off of 54, but she may come to your house. You would have to call or email her. A wonderful teacher in Temple Terrace is Virginia Grissom - she teaches from her home, and she has done it for a long time. She offers various options for beginners, including some small group lessons initially, if you want them. She has 3 daughters herself, too.
