New to MN: Advice on How to Dress an Infant (And Myself) for the Winter?

We just moved from Colorado and I have questions on how to dress our 7 month old son for the Minnesota winter. Although he was born in Colorado in February, he was in the NICU for 10 days and on oxygen for 2 1/2 months with restrictions to stay in our home, so we didn't learn about clothing him through cold weather. Sunblock for Baby with Eczema

My 6 month baby, Noah, has eczema on his arms, legs and under his chin. Now that we are in the middle of summer I was wondering if any of you knew of any special sunblock that won't irritate his skin. I've been using Coppertone Water Babies but I think it's only making his skin worse. It could be because of the heat too. But I was just wondering what else is out there and would love recommendations. Thank you in advance :)

Ideas for Adoption Shower

Moms, I have given many showers but I have a new one I'm planning now. I have a friend that is adopting a 7 year old daughter and we would like to give them a shower before the girl is with them full time at the end of the month. I have several people helping me but we would like to know some great ideas that you have done or heard of since it isn't for a baby. Thanks so much for all of your help! S.

Thank You Gift Ideas for Baby Showers?

I'm having a shower thrown for me next Sunday. I was wanting to get a thank you gift for the hostess. She used to be a pro-chef so she probably has everything kitchen and cooking related. What do you suggest I give as a gift that is not a gift certificate, candle, or other over done thing? Also, when is the best time to give the thank you gift? Directly after the shower or on a seperate date after the shower? Thanks ladies, TL
