Anyone Know Anything About St. John's Episcopal School?

My neighbors across the street love the school. They have two boys and have had nothing but good things to say. Also, the neighborhood rumor is that it is great......

If you are in DISD did you try to get into the Magnet schools? My son is just finishing 4th grade at Travis and that has been a wonderful challenge for him!

Another neighborhood school that has a reputation as acedemically challenging but very good is Highlander over on Plano Rd.

This is one of the feeder schools from my daughter's school. The parents at my daughter's school who are sending their children there next year and are familiar with it say that it is an excellent education and I have heard nothing but good reports.

I would put him in St. John's. I have heard wonderful things. If he is still not challenged then I would check on St. Marks. When my brother was there it was ranked #2 in the country. I would definitely check on it now, even though it is probably full, at least you could get on a wait list. Also, if it is challenging enough, then maybe he can go back to a class with kids his own age. I promise, it is worth it.

My best friend went to St John's until high school! The program is fantastic...especially for the arts! Sports are limited. The community is very close. She is still best friends with her classmates in her adult life. They are all very smart and very successful! Hope that helps!
