So my children "forgot" to take out the trash can to the curb before work this morning, so I grabbed it, took off the lid and a big huge fake snake came flying out-did everyone hear me screaming this morning? Oh no they did not get me again with their pranks-paybacks are a B*&^%!!!

Help me come up with a good prank for them???

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

They are 18 and 21!!! I have been thinking all morning!!! I love the fake "poop" one!!!

My oldest does not live at home anymore, but he was part of this as he usually takes the trash out the night before (he checks on the dog when I am at work.) I am going to tell him that something is wrong with our computer (he is a IT tech) and tape down the mouse. And for my youngest smarta$$ I am going to place a rubber band around the facet head sprayer as he is in charge of the dishes...

OMG that was a great laugh. Gotta love kids. You can set all the clocks to a different time and when they wake up tell them they are all late!!! :) :) Good luck!!!

Your kids are awesome! How about a nice big pitcher of Koolaide in the fridge but oops, you forgot to add the sugar? Cheap, won't hurt anyone but good for a giggle.

Man I was having a rough morning and your post made me laugh!!!Thank you! What fun kids! But sorry, I've got nothing as far as payback goes. Once in college my bf hid all of my shoes in a scavenger hunt and I had wander all over campus looking for them (I had A LOT of shoes) and as payback I hung his boxer shorts all over campus in very obvious but hard to reach places. But I don't know if either is approriate for your family! Good Luck!

How old are the pranksters??
This takes time, but how about rearranging their rooms? Toys in the underwear drawer, pictures upside down, shoes in the sheets, if you really have time furniture in the most impractical way.
Not as much time, but funny. Get up on Saturday morning in a panic like it is a school day and they are going to be late. Just let them scurry to get ready and get out the door.
Good luck!
PS--PLEASE come back on here and tells us what you did!!
Now that I know their ages I am editing my response! 18 & 21, time to bring out the big guns!! LOL Do they have vehicles? How bout in the middle of the night moving them around the corner. Laugh your butt off as the freak out in the morning thinking it was stolen! How bout showing up at their job or school and saran wrapping their vehicles? Time to decorate for halloween...with a roof full of undies! Make sure you are where you can see their faces when the pull up and realize it's their undies displayed on the roof!! You could also take the most embarrassing picture you have of them, have it blown up to poster size and display it in the yard!

Hahaha Thanks for sharing!! My kids are always doing these things too. They like to hide plastic spiders and booby trap their rooms. Once I went to pick up yet another huge plastic spider only to find out it was a real one! EEEEK! As far as pay backs? You have to think like them! Have fun!! If I think up anything good I'll let you know. Someone filled dads shoes with sour cream once (they were old shoes)but...you need a really good sense of humor for that one.

Do you have any pets? Take a Power Bar, mush it up with water...it looks like, well, you know. Put it in one of their rooms or in the family room. It's gross, but looks real.
Yeah for fun mamas! Isn't it early for Trick or Treat? :)

In our house growing up, a typical "payback" (if we couldn't come up with something else) was to go dump a glass of ice cold water on them while in the shower.
We also got those gross jelly beans (the ones that taste like vomit, dirt, rotten eggs, etc) and got the other person to eat them.
=)

Turn everything upside down in their rooms. If they have their own phone (landline), tape the received down or pull the cord out but not so they can see it. Switch the clothes in their dressers or closets, jeans work the best since they pretty much all look the same. If they have their own computers, change the screen saver and background for the desktop.

A friend just told me that her brother taped a small piece of paper under her mouse last week. It would not work and she was trying to figure out why, even took it off. Then she decided to check out the little ball inside and saw the paper. She got back at him by putting 4 alarm clocks hidden in his room. They were set for 10 minutes apart and on loud. He spent over an hour trying to find them. Once they were all going off, he could not tell where they were. And hitting his snooze button the second time didn't work out very well.

Oh, that is funny! How about short sheeting the bed? Incase you don't know what that is, but I imagine you do....you can find instructions on the Internet

It's mild though compared to what they did to you!
