Skin Care Problems for Mom

Before I had my daughter I had great skin that needed very little work done to it. Now that I've had her I swear the total chemistry of my skin has changed! I'm having oily & dryness along with random breakouts. I don't know much about skin care due to being so lucky early on in life. I've already wasted close to $100 trying different products. I've tried Biore, Mary Kay, Noxema & Proactive. I have really sensitive skin so the Proactive & Noxzema turned me bright red and made my skin super sensitive. The Biore just made me break...

Dry Cracked Hands/knucles

I have tried just about all I know to get my hands/knuckles to stop cracking. My pinky knuckles and my index fingers are the worst. I put lotion on all day, try to make sure I dry them completely after I wash them. I've tried using just hand sanitizer. Right now I put peroxide and neosporin with band-aids overnight. I work in a day care so I am always washing my hands. They have cracked and healed so many times that they are beginning to scar. Any ideas from you great Moms would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, T.

Advice on Excema

My daugher has recently developed excema. I have not taken her to the peds as I know that it is excema but how to treat it? My doctor is not someone that hands out medicine or creams so thought and see if there were any alternative methods. I have not changed my detergent lately either.

21 Month Son Has Dry Patches/small Bumps on Skin

My son was born with tiny bumps on the back of his arms (like mommy). Now, his back is so dry and after bath, the skin on his back turns very red. I use johnson & johnson head to toe soap-free wash and use A LOT of lotion to sooth his dry patches on back. The doctor told me it was excema on his arms so we reguarly use cream for that too. He does not scratch or act bothered but the redness after a bath and the dryness concerns me. Any ideas?

Strange Bumps on My Daughter's Skin

My 4yo daughter has these strange bumps on her skin. They start out as a small, skin colored bump. Then they grow and turn white. They are about the size of a wart. In fact they kind of look like a wart, but don't have the califlower look to them. Then they turn red and erupt. Then they heal like a normal wound. She has them popping up all over her body, except her hands, feet, and face. She has 4 or 5 red ones at any one time. They appear to be growing in numbers though. Her elbows have significant numbers of them coming up. ...
