5 Month Old Breastfed Baby, Sleep Issues, Formula and Miracle Blanket

I think I may have a unique problem that is a combination of breastfeeding, swaddling, sleep, and sanity... My 5 month old daughter Isabella was never a great sleeper. She cluster fed from the beginning and if it wasn't for the pump I think I would have either given up breastfeeding or jumped off a bridge! Baby Still Sleeping in Swing

My daughter had colic, so I followed the advice of Dr. Harvey Karp's book, "The Happiest Baby on the Block." In that book, it says that it is ok to let a colicky infant sleep in a swing, and that is the only place she would sleep, so that is where she has been sleeping. It worked great and actually allowed us all to get some sleep. The problem now is that she is 3 months old and will not go to sleep while lying flat. I don't really know what to do. My Baby Has Colic

Hey guys, I have a 5 week old with colic. I am breastfeeding him, and have tried taking out dairy, spicy foods, raw veggies and caffine. Nothing has helped. I have tried gas drops and that doesn't do anything either. He is on medication and it helps with his acid reflux... but he is still so irritable at night. He is very fussy at night, I have heard that there is nothing you can do about colic... we have started a routine with a bath at night to try to calm him... Infant Very Fussy

How Long Did You Swaddle Your Infant? Also, Baby Won't Take Pacifier...

My baby girl is turning 3 months on Monday - I have heard that by now we shouldn't be swaddling her anymore. She will ONLY sleep if she is wrapped up really really tight. If not, she can fall asleep but will wake up soon after drifting off and wake often during the night because her hands are free to roam up by her face --she gets frustrated & all worked up because she starts sucking on her fists.
