Infant Sleeping in Parents' Bed

Quick question for moms out there who slept with their newborn/infant. What worked for you in terms of keeping baby safe while sleeping in your bed? Did you use an infant positioner? Did baby just lay next to you on top of your covers? I'm hoping for some advice on this. Also, how did you keep your baby warm/cool enough when sleeping with you? Thanks!

Four Month Sleeps in Swing

My four and half month old daughter has always been a really bad sleeper. She needs constant movement to stay asleep. She has been sleeping in a cradle swing for almost two months now. We know she is going to eventually grow too big for the swing but we have tried everything ween her. We recently saw the pedi who was visibly appalled that she is still sleeping in a swing. Colic Baby Help Please!

Hey mamas! My good friend has a 9 wk old son with really bad colic. He was born 5 wks early but didn't have any problems and has caught up in weight. He seems to have bad gas and reflux which makes things worse. She's been nursing and giving him formula to keep his weight on.
