What is the best swing you suggest to register for my baby shower? I am looking for a swing that swings both forward/backward and sideways, lights to entertain.
What is the best saucer/jumper you suggest?
What is the best bath tub you suggest?
THANKS!!

What can I do next?

I love the Papasan swing. I mostly love that it is cream and light green and very soothing to the eyes, not to mention it is so comfy! My son took every nap in it until he was 9 mos old!

We used the sink for baths until the kids could sit up and then we used the Munchkin inflatable duck bathtub. The sink was easier for me since I had C-sections, leaning over was hard at first.

Our daughter loves the rainforest jumperoo. I would definitely get a swing that moves side to side. It seems like for everyone I know that is the only swing their baby likes or liked. When we went to sell our front to back only swing on Craiglist is was pretty much impossible because there are so many new, unused ones on there. They sleep like a dream in the side to side!

Ok, well the rainforest swing is great! It does not have lights but the animals move around above and plays music. I also got the baby bouncy seat in rainforest that my daughter loved. It has lights with a waterfall movement as well as vibration and music. The frog and monkey moved up and down and I think that was her favorite. You know I have a baby wash tub that was used one time. If you would like it, you can have it. Like I said I used it once and I used the bath tub after that. (I took baths with her :)) It seemed easier for me. I am not sure what kind it is but clear dark blue and has a teether and cup that attaches with padding on the bottom. Send me a message if you want it! Good luck and congrats!

There is a GREAT little bath tub/seat combo by First Years. You can use it for the newborn bath and then later you can use it in the big tub as a seat. We used for almost 2 years. It has a nice drawer in it too. Good luck!

I love the Evenflo Smartsteps Exersaucer. My daughter can stay in their for a long time. There is so much for her to do. The bath tub I like is the Fisher-Price Aquarium Bathtub. I used it since the day she was born. She still uses it now and she is 6 months old.

Graco has a new swing called the Sweetpeace Swing Center. I just saw it at a baby store this week and the owner said they were going really fast. I don't have one but they look really neat!

Rainforest Jumperoo. I wish my son weren't so close to the weight limit (he is a huge baby!)

Get one of those portable floor swings, they take up little room, you can take them anywhere and my son LOVED IT! I think Fisher Price has a great one. The bigger ones take up a lot of room, you cannot take them anywhere and if the child doesn't like it, it becomes a waste. My daughter hated the swing we had one of the big Graco ones and it was a pain. It went through batteries like crazy.
As far as baby baths, those are simple and easy, get one with a stop plug on the bottom. They outgrow it fast so another thing to get is the bath ring, where your baby can sit up and it is easier to wash them. They feel more secure in the bath ring too.
The saucers that have the bouncy mechanisms are great, the have toys around the outside to keep baby occupied. Make sure you register for a pack and play too, those were lifesavers for me, bassinett to playpen. Great for travelling, keeping kids busy while you are cooking and we used ours big time. Also had a Graco in that.

I had an infant tub that had a removeable sling and hated it. I liked the kind with the built in incline that has slots to place it over your kitchen sink - you can just quickly fill it, wash the baby without leaning over and have all your supplies right there. By the time your baby outgrows it, she'll be sitting up and ready for splashing in the big tub. I also found that having a kneeler helps a lot when leaning over the side of the tub. (here's the one I have)

My sister-in-law and friend both had an earlier model of the rainforest swing and they raved about it.

I had a hand-me-down exercauser and it was good, but it didn't have nearly all the bells and whistles that they have now. No matter which one you decide on, it will be worth the price. I only used mine when necessary (keep my kids out from under my feet while cooking or cleaning) so they didn't hate it when I put them in it.

We got the Rain Forest swing for our son. We loved it and would still be using it if he hadn't gotten so long it won't swing anymore. It doesn't have lights but it has a mobile that spins around. Also it can play music or jungle sounds. We also bought the Rain Forest bouncer. It has flashing lights animal noises music and a volume button which is AWESOME!!! The quality is great and the prices very reasonable. They also have a nightlight that lights up and plays music that hangs on the side of a crib. Conor loves that also. We were so pleased with the swing we are passing it on to my nephew and his wife who are having their first baby. For bathtime I bought a little sling that goes in the tub. We also have a big bathtub for him but I found I couldn't empty it after my c-section. The sling is on a metal frame and just sits in your tub. It is a lot smaller so its not in the way and he still uses it.

I have the fisher price natures touch papasan swing and my son loves it! I was a little concerned when I read the reviews on it becasue everyone said that it went through batteries very quickly, but I'm still on the original batteries that I put in it and we've been using it every day for the past month and a half for about 30 min a day. It doesn't light up, but it does swing back and fourth and side to side, has I believe 4 sounds settings (songs and nature sounds), birds and butterflies that spin around at the top and a little mirror so they can look at themselves and a little toy bar that you can remove.
