Overly Needy Infant?

I have a beautiful 4-month old boy and while he is relatively easy to soothe and calm down, he becomes intolerably fussy within 2 minutes of being put down anywhere. I end up playing with him or holding him the entire day which I know they need a lot of at this age, but makes it impossible for me to get dressed or cook a meal without listening to a screaming fit. I hear different things: 1) let him cry it's good for him but only for 15 minutes at a time or 2) don't let them cry, they perceive this as abandonment and retain subconscious...

20-Month-old Won't Nap in Carseat

My 20-month-old has never been the average child when it's come to napping. Even as a newborn I could hardly take her out in a public place without her being aware of everything around her and not wanting to sleep. I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to get her to relax when we go on a driving trip, since instead of going to sleep in her carseat when she's tired she just screams like she'll never stop. Advice on Cluster Feeding

Hello all. My little girl just turned two weeks today and I am exclusively breastfeeding. I am over the initial engorgement and my nipple tenderness has pretty much subsided. She is gaining weight well and has a pretty good latch. I nursed my now 27 month old for 8 months but it was never easy. I have a couple of questions/concerns. My daughter seems to be falling into a pattern of cluster feeding in the late afternoon early evening hours ( 4 to 6:30 pm) I pick my 2 year old up from day care at 4, so this has been very trying on us....
