What Do You Really Need for an Infant?

So it's been 8 years since I last had a baby to care for. I am expecting again and am at a loss for what I really need and trying to prioritize. I have looked at many registries and think they include a lot of frivolous items (wipe warmers ect) So if you could go back in time and know then what you know now, what are your must have items. When I say I have nothing I mean not one baby item at all. I know I'll need a crib, clothes, ect. Looking for More Info on the DPA Baby Bottle Recall

Has anyone heard about the baby bottle recall? My father called and said that he had just seen the end of a segment on the news about baby bottles being recalled because of high levels of DPA. He didn't know the brand or any other information. I searched all of the news websites and couldn't find anything... We use Dr Browns Bottles. Please let me know if you have heard anything or have anymore information on this recall.

I'm expecting in late October, & plan to breastfeed. I BF for 7 months with my daughter, & rented a pump from the hospital the whole time.
